Junior Account Manager - CO-UP

Position: Jr. Account Manager

Temporary (5 weeks or 175 hours) - Full Time

Hybrid environment - (work from home on Fridays and during storms) 

Must be graduating from a postsecondary program in NS, Canada  

​

Responsibilities for Digital Marketing Work:

 

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Responsible for copy-writing and managing all social media posts on all social media platforms for the assigned accounts.

  • Develop monthly and specific content calendars.

  • Ensure all deliverables are met in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with team members, specifically graphic design and creative teams, to execute advertising campaigns.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining all social media paid advertising for assigned accounts.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining all Google ads / YouTube campaigns for assigned accounts.

  • Ensure all ad campaigns are monitored and adjusted to provide the highest ROI.

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals.

  • Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI and KPIs.

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content (ie: original text, photos, videos).

  • Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and, depending on the account, monitor customer reviews

  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness (ie: promotions and competitions)

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

  • Meet with Senior Account Manager on a weekly basis to review the performance of client accounts

  • Assist in research and social media audits

  • Understand differences in brand tone and be able to adapt tone/voice for specific audiences.

 

 

Responsibilities for Other Marketing Work:

 

  • Media Buy Traditional advertising planning and execution.

  • Photography.

  • Video production projects. 

  • Website development - Management 

  • General Marketing Project Management 

  • Work with the Management team on any projects assigned to you within our services that InTouch Provides.

 

Requirements

​

  • Graduating college/university student of a public relations, marketing, or a related field

  • Exceptional English language writing and grammar skills

  • Highly proficient proofreading and editing skills

  • Proven social media marketing experience

  • Desire to learn new skills and techniques

  • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices

  • Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and the ability to create engaging posts according to best practices

  • Knowledge of SEO and analytics platforms

  • Passion for best practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

  • Meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical skills; and strong interpersonal skills

  • Proactive; takes ownership; highly organized; responsible and deadline-driven

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously

 

 

 

Additional skills will be considered valuable

​

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite relevant to creating graphics, sliders, etc. for campaign use and online promotions at a professional level

  • Knowledge of photography: basic rules of composition and editing

  • Knowledge of videography

  • Experience with graphic design: layout, illustration, typography
